Battery Charging

Short answer - yes.

Qualifications

1. Batteries will charge slower

2. If batteries are not same age or size its not good for them long term (one wont charge properly)

3. Battery charger may not be big enough to charge both efficiently

4. If its a multistage battery charger, the float may not work properly if the batteries are not equalised, probably best not to leave them on float long term.

Advice - if the charger is big enough to charge both batteries at the same time from discharged to near full in under 10 hours, put it on to both batteries for the bulk charging, then charge them through to float seperately. If not big enough, charge thwem seperately.

Lastly check your charger, quite a few of the top end ones have two positive outlets, so you can charge two batteries at once (common earth), if so then it wont be an issue :)
