Good bass if there is a brag mat photo i will believe it. At least he is holding it correctly unlike a lot of other cowboys swinging it around by the mouth. They have been pulling some good bass from somerset lately.

If I caught a 60cm the first thing I would do is to get a pic on a brag mat, you can make a 45 look like a 60 by holding it close to the camera,but you are only fooling yourself.

I did see the pic with the brag mat. It did touch 60, only just but it did none the less. I can't find the photo, he posted it when someone asked for it on Facebook.

Wow. I have asked him for a copy of the brag mat photo. Hopefully he will have it.

That is a beast though. Over 3kg he said. Cracking fish. Hopefully it is out there still swimming around. Not that I would blame him for having a feed but that is a pretty special girl.

I have the Brag Mat photo and it just touches 60cm! This uploaded photo is not great but it is the best I can do. Cheers!

Great fish, measured correctly its not a 60, check with the way to measure fish.

Yes, a great Aussie Bass over 3kg that few of us can match. Thanks for sharing the photo Ellicat! 

There are big Bass in our Qld Dams. Bass fishos are secretive, many fish alone and they catch some big Bass. Biggest I have seen is a 615mm Wivenhoe Bass on a mat in 2015. Cheers!

Mate that is huge. Can you dig up a photo? I would love to see that.

Hi Drop Bear! This Bass fanatic is so secretive it would have been inappropriate of me to ask him for a copy of the photo. I landed my Wivenhoe PB Bass at 56cm that day and he was fishing 300m away. 

I do have a photo of a 60cm Wivenhoe Bass which I can share with you over a cuppa at a Cafe. It was caught by a different Bass fisho. Cheers!

kk fair enough. The unicorn continues to be illusive. I have never seen a 60cm bass on a brag mat.
