Ben just sent in a couple of pics of a boat that Is on fire atm off the seaway. From what we understand, mark from true blue fishing charters has said they where able to get into there life raft. Play it safe out there guys

Yeah,. All escaped, without injury, on a life raft and then collected by water police.

Saw it on the news. Glad the weather was good for them. That would be super scary to be on a boat with a fire. 

When I was about 10 dad had a little boat with an inboard outboard that we used on the hunter river. They had taken the fuel filter off for some reason (they were always tinkering) It backfired and spat fuel onto the insulation on the engine hatch and it caught fire. Smoke everywhere. Kids in life jackets ready to jump but they put the fire out and we continued on... this time with the air filter on.

Very sad to see someone’s boat go up in smoke. I’m glad a got off without injury. 

When watching this on TV, at the end of the segment I had to laugh when the owner said to one of the rescues, can you take GPS markings for me. 

I laughed thinking there will be nothing to salvage.

haha perhaps he wants to be the only one that knows where the wreck is so he can fish it.
