queensland Stanley River At Woodford

Hi guys, was wondering if anyone had ever had any success fishing the Stanley river near Woodford. I have been there twice with the hope that I would hook onto a Mary cod. It is a beautiful and scenic stretch of river which is hard to access by foot and kayak due to the dense bankside vegetation. Any news or advice would be much appreciated.  Cheers.
