Rick thought he has a flatty first but as soon as it tried to hog the bottom he realised it was a ray

That would've been a big disappointment, when I pulled my first (and only LOL) fish up on a soft plastic I thought it was a catfish at first but then realised it was a decent lizard! (The reason I bring this story up is because catfish and rays kind of come under the same name for me, vermin), I guess you guys would've liked it that way around. Like you said though, it still would've been nice to get out for a fish.

Funny thing Ray, as soon as I read your thread title, I immediately thought to myself that if I'd started naming my reports of my saltwater escapades over the years, my current title I'd be up to would have ALOT of 'still' in it ..........  (ie. you can still, still, still, still, still ........).

Getting very close to putting my tinnie in the salt to wash off the freshwater marks.Just have to balance long enough to get the motor on the tinnie without falling over.Maybe next week if nothing changes.
