Last week the referee stole a victory from Manly and this week the referee gift wrapped the victory for them. Not too many teams can win with an 8 nil penalty count in the second half. And the winning penalty was dubious at best.

Well I forgot to put my tips in this week... It goes to the home ground if you don't put them in... I would not have picked Manly but it seems I got the point on the comp by default...

did you get corona virus tested? They are asking ppl with flu like symptoms to do it.

Evening Drop Bear

We might have too, but I am going to sleep again and see how I am tomorrow before I go. The doctor we went to said the chances were so unlikely. If I am still feeling bad tomorrow, that's the plan 🙂

Gee I didn't realise the second half penalty count was that bad!!  And yes, that last one was cr@p, I reckon he actually started trying to steal it just before he called held, but at worst it was instantaneous and they should have just given the ball back for Manly to play it. Absolutely rubbish to lose a game due to that 😡

Hey Brian, What's the go with the margin thingy

2nd down in the tipping page.

Can you enter the winning margin you think between the two playing

teams. Or can you just leave it blank.

You can do either, but the idea is to have a guess.  If you end up tied on points at the end of the season the margin will be the deciding factor.

Go the Titans for the fun of it. Mrs Scaley was deriding me on the weekend for always picking the Qld teams no matter their chance of success and then actually trying to pick the winner of the other games. She couldn’t see the point in that. After contemplation I have decided she is right so from now on I will be picking who I want to win rather than who I think might win. Sounds like a cop out, but what the heck. Good luck everyone.

I do the same. I always pick the teams I want to win. Perhaps that is why I am doing so well in the comp... haha.

I think we are stuck with him for another season as he has already taken up his 2021 option. Joey Johns saying it would be better value to bench him rather then play him.

Joey Johns could be right (He'd have to be a fairly good judge you'd think haha). He'd be better as an impact player and let someone else be active at the grind times, when Milf goes MIA. Apparently Dearden is fit and able now.

I think the refs might have it in for QLD,8 penalties, 8 restarts and 2 sin bins in the broncs game and nearly as bad in the cowboys and titans. Seems to be a lot of nit picking. This restart rule is a farce, the buzzer goes off after the event and half the time you are left wondering what was that for, as I said most are just nit picking.

I've found myself starting to think the same thing Dino - the first week I thought it was alright but they seem to be overdoing it, if they keep it up it may as well be touch footy ......... Broncos played cr@p the other night but a few of the needless '6 agains' didn't help their cause.

I agree. Scrap the stupid rule now.
