Done my good deed and took the neighbor fishing yesterday.More accident prone than me, I had to keep a close eye on him. There was a chill in the air, but didnt feel that cold and turned out to be a nice morning. We were on one fish each up till 9 am, as most time spent showing Bruce around. Finally found a school and settled in for the next couple of hours and managed 34 bass. Bruce was very happy with his first trip out for over a year and his wife was even happier as Bruce never leaves the house.

Spent the night before at the hospital, got cyaticker ( spelling ) in right foot at 8pm,in waiting room 10pm till 11.20 pm,in bed till 2.30 am, given nothing for pain except a script. Managed an hour of broken sleep before keeping my word to take Bruce fishing.Slept like a log last night.

Seen my local  doc yesterday arvo,had to get my right arm dressed where I overbalanced off the step ladder and took a hunk out of my arm on the brickwork. Now banned off ladders.

Good ban. You don't want to ruin your chances of fishing; you've had enough time off this year already.

Right there, I had to get my handyman in to finish the job, only cost me 2 packets of ocean fish. Which reminds me, my son just got back from his latest trip, I better slip down and see him and take a esky with me.

Gees that's a horrendous way to spend a night before  an early morning fishing trip Dino. Glad you were rewarded with some quality bass. Shame about the ladder ban - I'm about to pain the exterior of our house and was going to ask for a hand .........

Speaking to my knee doctor, he says men over 60 should stay off ladders. When you get on a ladder and lean back, you tend to keep going. Worked for me.

Ladder ban sounds like a good plan mate. I think I will be having one sooner rather than later. 

Mate that was a big effort. Good on ya for taking your mate out after such a ****** night.
