Hi all

is king island worth a paddle in the yak come snapper time?? Anyone had good success?

Haven't fished it for quite a few years but it held small squire as well as quite a few bar tailed flatties on the drift.

Oh and of course - grinners.

I could be persuaded to take you there Tuesday if you're free ?

Sure is.

I don't see anything wrong with having a fish there if we're drifting for flatties. Pretty sure any of the potential baby squire by-catch would be pre-breeding size as well.

Thanks for pointing it out though. Someone is bound to forget this first year.

Definitely worth a paddle. mate. 

Plenty of school mackerel, bream, grassies, tuskies and squire. Getting them to bite is the trick.
