Some very threatening weather yesterday at NPD with Neil but we were a bigger threat to the fish with 3 yellas. 2 tandans and 65 bass on the counter. All on live shrimp and all released.It was very windy after about 8 am but thankfully no rain except on the way home. Neil did very well to bring an good size eel boatside on 6lb line. Lots of floats opposite the entrance of the boat ramp I can only assume they are shrimp traps as hardly any redclaw entered in the catch cards. The tide has gone out on the ramp and it is possible to walk over the other side. Apparently the surface has been damaged so we will have to continue to use the new extension on the side whilst it is easy to launch from it is not so good retrieving in the wind unless you have a walkway on your trailer so you can get the bow on the rear roller of your trailer. Needs another couple of truck loads of rock so that you can walk behind the trailer .

Fish and Venison on a single trip  we can only dream.

Hopefully this La Nina forecasted season gets the dams back up to level soon mate. I'm sure the receding waters are making it physically tougher and tougher on you.

That is a crazy amount of pots? They all look large and brand new.

Good session guys, that is a nice variety of fish out there.

And like said above, that is a serious amount of pots out!

No hunting allowed.

When required, Seqwater uses a contractor to cull the deer.

Re the pots, at 4 per person it doesn't long to built up numbers. For some reason, people seems to think that the best place to put pots in is where others put theirs!!

I mean, it stands to reason that if there's lots of pots in one area, there must be plenty of shrimps there too

I prefer to keep my pots away from the horde.. If everyone hits an area hard it does not take log to clean it out.
