Can I hire a fish-finder ?

Does anyone know if any rental places hire out fish finders? I won't get mine in time for the BRC, and wondering if there's other options to get one.

I can give you a loan of a old portable eagle that is mounted in a box and the transducer is screwed to a bit of ply that you can attach to the transom with a g clamp. It is only a basic model but works ok. I can bring it along to log on friday mornong and leave it for you.

i also have a eagle fish finder i pulled off my boat when i purchesed it!

i works great and still finds bottom at 20k :ohmy:

the only reason i removed it is because the off button wont work so you have to unplug it from the back to turn it off!

and i had a good one off my old boat to replace it with!

if ya want it you can have it for $50 its all there transducer, wireing and all!

the offer is open to anyone that wants it?

That'd be brilliant!! It's for the kayak so would probably suit the purpose well. I'll chuck you a 6pack or something for it.
