New kid on the block

Sorry everyone for the late thank you for welcomes, greatly appreciated. I've been harvesting honey all day. Anyone ever tried "honey smoked fish"? It's the bees knees (😂) Thanks guys, honestly, in my humble opinion, and I emphasis my opinion. The Noosa River is pretty fished out. Don't get me wrong, Kate & I love putting the boat in at our (reasonably hidden) dirt boat ramp at the end of the street, trotting out to the main river n finding our spots for mainly flathead and whiting. But unless we go outside there's not municipalch going on in the river. I could talk about crab pots being nicked and idiots trying to take hire pontoons across the bar because they wanna see the Cherry Venture (true story) but I'll leave the really funny stuff for a camp fire.

Love trolling for makkys n tuna north towards the coloured sands. Dropping softs on the bommeys for snapper. Bloody hell I sound like a gun, not true😂

My ambition here is to get to know people that like boating n camping and the obvious and do adventures together. Fish, maybe snorkel, chew the fat around a camp fire, take the piss out of each other and laugh a lot. Share smart little ideas for all of the above.

I love fishing convoys

Then we'll have to introduce you to our resident friend @tugger who happens to specialise in this sort of thing 🙂. Welcome to the forum mate, nice looking rig and sounds like you get plenty of variety up your way. I'll have to try honey smoked fish some time - sounds yum!!

I like you already! We could have a blast around the camp fire over one or twenty beers.
