G'day all. I'm heading out to coochiemudlo island with a mate on the weekend and am open to any tips for fishing coochie this time of year. What are going as the best baits/rigs/spots for the island. I will appreciate any thoughts. Thanks

I personally haven’t been there but I’ve been to plenty of similar spots . 6lb line on a small 1000/2500 reel with a very small sinker going a small long shank hook and using baits such as live prawns and yabbies would produce good fish or going with 4lb line and using unweighted Bread is a good way to get drummer luderick trevally and bream . If you want to fish with lures a 1/8 or 1/6 jig head matched to 2.5 plastic with a 6-8lb leader will work well to
