Good day on the bay

That's a nice snapper. Lucky for him you were on the other end of the line.

It was a nice day on the Bay despite the wind that popped up for about an hour in the morning. The sea toads moved in in large numbers that made floating for macks impossible. Even bottom bashing saw us lose quite a few rigs.

We decided we shouldn't have left Green so we went back there. We were chasing Grassies and they were in good numbers but all under. @Leosonfire hooked up to something with a bit of power that jumped out of the water and shook free. Too quick for an ID though.

Thanks for dropping in on us and taunting us with a preview of your snap.

PS   Got a catshark for entry to the shark comp, but forgot to measure it with a circle.

I am with Brian - I would have released the snapper to the esky!

Hahahaha, I thought about it, but decided to try and upgrade to a pan size model, It didn’t work out. I really don’t mind letting some of the bigger ones go, they’re almost too good to catch just once, besides that, the odds of Brian nailing a big one now remain unchanged, rather then -1 😃
