Round 18  results

Friday, July 16

Titans 8  vs  26 Eels

and the Titans keep on…. Titaning????

Sea Eagles 32  vs  18 Dragons
interesting game, both sides put in when they had their moments and momentum… Dragons got lost in their moments a number of times.

Saturday, July 17

Raiders 34  vs  18 Sharks

The only reason the Sharks are in the top 8… Raiders went missing on the paddocks for many weeks…..

Cowboys 18  vs  34 Roosters

Cowboys started by firing off small arm volleys, but  were out banged of the gun fight when the Roosters fired off artillery rounds in the last 20 minutes

Storm 48  vs  4 Knights
Fancy that…..

Sunday, July 18

Warriors 16  vs  30 Panthers
injury hit Warriors keep being clobbered but show heart

Broncos 24  vs  42 Tigers, Suncorp Stadium, 4:05pm
Tigers offered some purring in the first 40, in the second 40 the same Broncos serial brain failures,  who can not learn from their repetitious brain fails, opened the doors and the Tigers snarled, roared and left the Broncos in the cat litter tray before leaving the field at 80 minutes

Rabbitohs 32  vs  24 Bulldogs

The Bunnies were a bit off…. but the Doggies can take this week`s John Wayne Award for showing ‘True Grit’ for giving Bunnies fans a few palpitations throughout the contest….

Round 19 results

Thursday, July 22

Eels 10 vs  12 Raiders

fancy that…. even Raider fans are in shock by this win…..

Friday, July 23

Roosters 28  vs  8 Knights

the Knights looked good.. before the Roosters decided to kick in

Cowboys 16  vs  20 Storm

this could have been the boil over of the decade… keeping the panic under the surface, the Storm`s winning hunger got them the win.

Saturday, July 24

Rabbitohs 60  vs  22 Warriors

lots of points scored… the Storm and Panthers dug deep for wins this round, the Bunnies didn`t need to dig too deep, but they still are having problems with commanding a game for the whole 80 minutes

Sea Eagles 44  vs  24 Tigers
this score line kind of says where they are both at….

Panthers 18  vs  12 Broncos
only the Storm would be upset at being beaten by 6 after 80 minutes against the Panthers

Sunday, July 25

Dragons 10  vs  32 Titans

Well, this match up was always going to be an ‘on the day', toss of a coin tipping type of game for me… as per usual,  I lost the toss again

Bulldogs 24  vs  44 Sharks
Doggies are showing areas of improvements, but continued mistakes and dumb actions drag them back each week… Sharks are on course to go out in the 1st week of the finals.... if they can stay in the top 8

Interesting that Panthers are paying $4... Must be lots of Sydney support or something?

Round 20  results

Thursday, July 29

Roosters 28  vs  0 Eels
I did say in my Round 16 results comments, posted on July 4 Eels are only keeping a top 4 spot warm”…

Friday, July 30

Tigers 16  vs  18 Warriors
#@*^#@ furball chokers…. just when I`d finally accepted the Warriors were a bunch of losers

Broncos 37  vs  18 Cowboys

this was no heavy weight match up, but the improvement in defence and offence across the field by the Broncos was there to be seen. There are some winnable rounds coming up for them… if they`ve packed the white flag away now!

Sunday August 1

Knights 34  vs  24 Raiders

Both teams are among 5 sitting on 18 points, with the Titans 7th on the ladder with 18 points

Storm 37  vs  10 Panthers

Panthers were minus a couple of key players for this 1-2 match up… then again the Storm has been missing many key players all season and have kept on storming…

Dragons 14  vs  50 Rabbitohs
no puff, let alone magic in these Dragons

 Monday, August 2

Bulldogs 6  vs  34 Titans
this win jumps the Titans from 10th on the ladder to 7th… top 8 who would`ve thunk…..

Sharks 22  vs  40 Sea Eagles

with the hammy hanging in there it was again the Trbojecic show, with some help from Manly..

I agree - without looking at the line ups or betting odds, there aren't many there that I'd confidently predict.  Oh, and the Doggies are playing the '$%P*#ing furball chokers' ........ so you never know ..... 🙂.

sadly for their fans the games the Tigger's should win they often lose direction and blow them. Moses moved on and his potential and consistency has come through at the Eels, Brooks... well, everyone is getting older while waiting....
