Never have I been so disgusted with NRL, i knew in the first 2 minutes of the 2 games last night who was going to win. So the NRL decided to police head highs,well why havnt they for the last couple of years.First game the ref found all the faults with the knights, second game they found all the faults with the broncos. So how come the other 2 sides were so well behaved, it was a bloody joke.

Then I watch the first game today and the ref was to lazy to blow the whistle, no consistency. Rant over.

Worst round or NRL I have ever seen. The referees destroyed the round. I am getting close to not watching it anymore it isn't the NRL I grew up watching late 80's early 90's. IT is getting closer and closer to Austag.. Anything that is a big hit is penalised. What is the point of the scrum for the last 15years. The 6 again rule is crap teams have learnt how to exploit it by just giving a team an extra tackle when the first tackle so defensive team can get line set. The concussion rule I agree with but again it is a free substitute and teams are exploiting it. Don't even get me started on the forward passes for the last 15-20 years (It came out of his hands forward but went backwards Bu*****t) and then there is the play the ball which no one ever touches the ball with there foot. It is a DISGRACE!

Finally crack the Qld trifecta.  Once that first Brisbane forward pass was let go I thought this could be their night.

Believe it or not, I actually changed my tip to the Broncos about an hour before kick off. I figured they have shown some class when the forwards put in the grunt work, which they decided to do tonight and I haven’t been very impressed with the Roosters this season.

When you say “neigh-sayers” are you referring to the horse in the gif? Pretty sure it says neigh all the time. I can’t believe it is nearly State of Origin time again. Bring it on. I just hope there are a few players left who are not suspended or injured. A few strategic lay downs with head holding could decimate an entire team in one round. Already a few missing from both sides.

TBH I am so close to being done with NRL with what is happening with the referees it is not funny. I watched every game on channel 9 since 1990 when I was old enough to and I am so appalled by what is going on that I am close to just not giving a **** anymore...Sorry but it is ridiculous what is going on at the moment... If I start going back many places I have given ups tipping..

enjoy this round guys between injury riddled teams playing 3rd choice players, the huge gap in form between the top 4 and the rest, an NRLC imposed referee crack down on body contact in a full on body contact sport, players playing 'with in the 'contact rules' milking penalties and bunker reviews, a Bunker system going rogue (with out having a clue to start with) that can rule and interfere in the flow of the game but still can not rule on blatant forward passes leading to tries, suspended players, and more potential suspensions to come in this round.... there may not be too many enjoyable viewing games left this season.....

Agree totally. They are wrecking the game and it is becoming a product that it isn't. How are they going to referee Origin? Will it be Touch football Origin? It certainly won't be hard hits and hard tackles........

Knights Vs Manly game has been the best watching on TV this year apart from the Ref stopping all the time... Good playing from both teams...  I tipped Eagles but my heart wanted Knights to win.
