Storm keeps on storming….

Eels 40  vs  12 Tigers
having had 70% of possession in the first 40 minutes, the Eels led 14-6.  Within 5 minutes of the second half starting ,the NRL directed crack down ‘sin binning’ took place and the Tigers were reduced to 12 for 10 minutes and the Eels ran in 3 quick tries…..

Yeah, the Kobe Hetherington send off was a bad joke. The Raider's player fell into him. There was nothing he could have done to avoid it.

Yep I think overall it is improving (in comparison to the Magic Round). They really need to admit that sometimes accidents happen and only dish out sin bins, send offs and suspensions where it is the tacklers fault. If the ball runner slips or is ankle tapped then as long as the tackler wasn't reckless (eg. swinging their arm) then it shouldn't be an automatic punishment just because their was head contact, and also not just because there was 'force'. If you look at the Hetherington incident it was the speed/intensity of the ball runner that caused the 'force'.

I agree but the biggest thing I think needs to change is that they add enough points on to the Broncos score each week so that they win.

Am taking my boys to see Broncos v Tigers on Sunday to use another leg of our 4-game pass. Just noticed the Warriors v Panthers game is now at Suncorp right before it so am assuming we will be able to see that also .  We are two wins from two attempts watching the Broncos this year so hopefully @ellicat’s hapless Tigers can seal a trifecta of wins for us .
