queensland Baroon backwater bass

Took a trip up to baroon dam yesterday, to fish the water in some of the backwaters with freshly covered grass. It paid off as Glen and I managed 80 plus bass for the morning in fogged out conditions. Bite slowed down as soon as the sun came out around 10 am.

TT spinnerbaits were the weapon of choice, although we did try several other lures. Managed one of my own tagged bass from 2018 and 3 stumpies like the last pic.

Red hot in paradise ! Still up there with one of my favourite dams that one! All the bass look in great condition it would have been great fun getting the on spinner baits they just seem to hit like freight trains. Very envious Dino ! Casting arm is getting itchy again, I’ll be on the sidelines a good while yet,
