Yep I agree. There are a lot of groups that want to put their spin on fishing and it is so important that fishers have a strong voice in these matters.

No thankyou I wish to remain sane,well as much as possible, I fill in questionnairs but to old to go an argue to a group.

Not for me only non active member of 2 stocking assns now. Previously on 4.Too old and burnt out. Previous history of 40years as a director of a friendly society, 8years as director of a not for profit health centre,20 years on a union board of management leave it to someone younger and a bit of fire left in them. I just sit back and criticize now.

I'll think about it - looks like it would be good, but I'm not much of a freshwater fisher and couldn't be 100% dedicated.

These guys @rayke1938, @Dinodadog have been doing the heavy lifting for years, Hamish, I appluad your enthusiasm, good on ya

 

Some  more of us young blokes (i.e. under 60) should really be setting the agenda for the next 10-20 years
