queensland Accurately predicting tide times for locations on Coombabah Creek?

Calling all those with a more scientific mind and/or education than mine! 

Is there an easy way of accurately calculating the tide times for parts of Coombabah Creek from nearby location data?  I currently use the app AU Tides - Location Paradise Point.

Basically locals say that various land based locations on the creek are about 2 hours later than Runaway Bay tide times.  I tend to use Paradise Point as a location based on the actual lie of the land and waterways and add about an hour.  However, for various reasons it would be great to be able to apply some maths/science to it rather than guesswork.

Can anyone assist?

Hi Kat I live at the Estuary in Coombabah and the tide is close to 1 1/2 hours behind the seaway.
