best way to cook mac tuna

[Tuna are fish]

i found this recipe for flat head made by @DolanAus and decided to change it a bit for mac tuna.

INGREDIENTS 

balls of tuna (the best cut you can get with little blood)

Packet of salt and vinegar chips

2 Eggs

Plain flour

Cooking oil

 

METHOD

1 Crush chips

2 Coat balls in flour

3 Dip in whisked egg

4 Coat balls in crushed chips

5 Heat oil in pan cook on each side until brown

6 serve with white vinegar for dipping and table salt.

7 let the vinegar drip off then eat

How do you make the "Balls of Tuna"?

So glad you explained this! I was thinking if you can only harvest 2 balls per fish, and then only from the boy fishies, it is going to take many tuna to feed the family.......  Nice recipe, thanks mate.

I like to prepare my Mac tuna sashimi style. 

Plate it up on a set of gang hooks and feed it to an edible fish

Nice recipe but try putting a few stones in the pot and when its all cooked throw out the macy

Poor old Mac Tuna.

While I know they make first rate bait, I have enjoyed eating them many times. It is all in the prep. 

The trick is that you cut out the blood meat (yes there is more than longies and yellow fin) and never cook it more than Medium Rare. 

Sashimi is delicious too.
