Looks like tuesday is looking good for an overnight camping trip at Blakesleys Anchorage at North Straddie.

I should be there by lunch time tuesday, staying over night in my pissy little 2 man tent till wednesday lunch time.

Midday high tide should allow minimal distance to carry firewood etc up to camp.

All welcome to meet up for a chinwag, and an overnight campfire cookup and drinkies

Bring your own lambchops, snags, drinks, tent, blankets and sum firewood to keep us all warm and toasty

A nice easy fish from the beach using yabbies might even result in a bream or whiting to enter into Hamish's winter classic too

I made a promise today to take the grand-nephew to footy training late on Tuesday arvo, so can't spend the night. Might drop over for a lunchtime brew. Have never been to Blakesleys before. Are there any channel markers, or just blast straight in with an eye open ?

Are masks optional ? haha

Bugger x 2...I thought Tues is going to be good- wind is perfect...got excited...then looked at my diary...:-(...client's...client's...client's...I'm going to have to have a serious talk to my secretary...I mean, surely she can schedule clients on non-fishing days?

I am so keen to do an over-nighter...new boat and all...sigh...

Unfortunately can't get out in time for the dawn bite, but it'll be better than turning up to an office...

Yer i peaked early as usual

Went for fish but no joy, try and catch a big breamy or whiting tonight

On the coffee now and yes sitting by the fire

Pol- air are circling overhead constantly, hooe there isnt a serial killer on the loose over here

Or maybe they smelt the jd on me breath from up there even...
