Anyone familiar with Viking 72EB

Hey there im considering getting a Viking 78EB. How effective would it be for bottom fishing and going for GT? Also side question is there a bag limit on Marlins?

Beam:	20' 0 (6.1 m)
Draft:	5' 9 (1.75 m)

personally I think it`s a bit 'going overboard' for chasing GT`s, but it would be very comfortable for drifting the flats bottom fishing for winter whiting  or trolling for flatties

Its main focus is for trolling. This is more of " can it do it? " more of thing.

yes, it could do it....personally I`d be using the Viking's dory for the trolling, otherwise you would be paying ridiculous $$$'s for your GT, whiting and flatty fillets....

you go right ahead and buy it. While you are at it, you can buy a smaller boat with more manoeuvrability for chasing the GT’s
