Tackle Bins - Sites needed

Hey legends,

OzFish is installing small bins to make it easier for fishers to dispose of there used line and hooks etc in the right way. 

We really need your help.

Can you please let me know locations that could use them?

These could be jetties or fishing platforms, boat ramps or banks. Basically anywhere people are fishing that might use them instead of dumping it in the water. 

Please let me know;

Description (eg port of Brisbane boat ramp - under the bridge)

and if you can Address (eg 1337 AFOistops Drive, Fishingheaven)

and if you have any other information that would be fantastic.

So anyone wanna start off? 

@AUS-BNE-FISHO what are the pontoons like where you fish? Do they have any tackle bins on them?

Sorry I haven't commented yet! I'll start now. I've been very busy with school at the moment, and only have 4 more weeks. 

The first jetties I'd focus on are all the recreation hubs

(from top of the river to bottom - i think)

- Riverhills

- Dutton Park 

- West End

-  Newstead Park

- Murrarie

As well as them they could be installed on the - 

- Jindalee jetty

- Orleigh Park

- Fig Tree Pocket Boat Ramp

- Under Indooroopilly Bridge

- Under the Fishermans Island Bridge

- Pinkenba Ramp

- Any landbased access at Boggy, and Bulimba Creek

- Kangaroo Point Pier and under the story bridge

- Colmslie Fishing Jetty

- Under the Gateway Bridge

And maybe ay Wellington Point and Shorncliffe Pier too.

Brighton Park (near car park) - 588 Hornibrook Highway
Brighton QLD 4017

the fishing platform halfway along the new hornibrook bridge (between Clontarf & Brighton) plus the two ends of the old bridge.
