Yes Kelvin. The river was probably the only place that was (barely) fishable today. You get after them, mate. If this one could be caught in the middle of the day in a strong run using cuttlefish head you should do well if you really target them. Good luck!

Good point regarding the river being the only real choice today ...... you don't notice these things as much when you're at work and fishing isn't an option for the day .......... 🤨. Just had a look at the tides and weather and considering trying to sneak a few sessions in this coming week by just parking the boat out the front of my place rather than having to take it back to my parents each time. Came with a full length cover so might put that over it for security.

That is really bad luck @Another Wazza. Brian showed me that photo on Tuesday when we were having our own battles with the men in grey raincoats. Hopefully you will nail another cracker soon.

Okay Steve, I am sure everyone else knows what you are talking about - but who or what are the men in grey raincoats?  Is it a euphemism for rain?

Beautiful little Thready Hamish , I presume you caught it in a cast net?

Even at that size they have big powerful tails don’t they.

It’s nearly as big as Beno’s Mauri Cod mate .😉

You have a week to go , go and catch a real one and put them in their place!😄

Regards

Neil

Haha, thanks Neil! I'm still hopeful!

Yep, I got him in a cast net. That same day I netted my buddies 113CM and 75CM threadies too.
