queensland Fish ID, Please

Got this fish by cast net this morning, released. 

Please advise what species it is.

Hi Mission

Thats a Bony Bream like ellicat said. If you have a heavy rod cast it out and you might catch a big shark. Otherwise, they are good strip baits too.

Got it! But isn't there many small fishbone in bony bream? I think it's hard to pick meat off the bone.

For every kilo of fish add 2 teaspoons of cement powder, mix well

and be thankfull.

You have to put them through the mincer and this chops up all the bones so you can just eat them.

oh and don't forget lots of spices and flavours like lemongrass and kaffir lime.
