Slow day at NPD on sunday not only did the fish not play the game my ulterra went prop up so i went old school with no spot lock or go to feature. Just motoring around on the stern mount and having to anchor up when i found a school. The fish were hard to find and even harder to entice a bite. Only real success was slow trolling live shrimp around the drop off near fad 0. Total of only 10 fish for the day.

Bugger about the motor. Easy fix ?

Could have fixed it immediatly if I had known how to just a reset. ( Not shown in manual) Not that I had read manual from start to finish.

Hi Ray ,

Bet you were happy with a reset fix!
Did you have to re learn the remote after the reset or did it still talk to the motor?

What is the reset routine, Ray? Just asking in case I need to do it sometime.

Only pertains with the ulterra when it stows with the prop pointing to the sky instead of parallel to the water, You get a motor error message on the remote and you are unable to deploy the motor. There is a black button on the left hand rap that you press and hold and the ulterra thinks that the motor is stored correctly and then you deploy the motor and turn the power off and manually turn the motor 90 degrees and  then turn power back on and quickly press the power button 3 times and the motor will reset itself and raise itself and then deploy and then stow itself in the correct position. NOTE THIS ONLY PERTAINS TO THE ULTERRAS .

Nice one mate. 10 fish is a nice day on the water. Glad you didn't have to spend any money on the prop.
