This should work @christophagus! They’ll never suspect us Northsiders have had our new blue brag mats for a couple of months now.

Launched at the Alberton Ramp just after first light this morning .The Logan River was the same colour as a Breaker Ice Coffee and the floods had deposited  a few large trees in the channel on the way out. 

I didn’t even bother stopping till I got past the power lines down towards Russell Island .

The fishing was fast and furious if you like catching undersized bream . Here’s a few fish I got between them  for the Southsiders to kick off their score board. Ran out of worms at about 10am , it was quite hot , so I pulled up stumps and headed home .

Fantastic Saturday afternoon whiting session on Macleay Island land based with yabbies.  So this entry definitely won't be a winner (because I will be catching bigger ones before close of comp) but it's a starter and may as well enter it now - will upgrade later .

Decided not to go Spanish fishing this morning ,might leave them fatten up till after the Christmas crowds settle down a bit.

Settled on solo trip in the little  tinnie. 

Left the Alberton ramp at 5.30am  and ran down stream all the way to the Pin bar before I found some clear water.

This little fellow gave me some curry on my 3kg soft plastic flathead gear in less than a metre of water.

Giant Trevally 585mm for team South .

Some nice fish and variety there @benno573!!  That's a cracking dart (PB?) - I did a quick Google to see if you were joking about being a trevally - didn't realise they were part of the family, well done . Assume you are on Moreton? Camping/staying for a while?

I randomly realised that my wobbegong the other day in the boat could have been entered as a shark (my bad) but I'm pretty sure Chris' three sharks were bigger, luckily .....

Not sure it the bigger flathead counts, I didn't have a ruler big enough. You can get a bit of an idea from the net handle, all good if it doesn't count. I didn't keep the big one but it was around the 70cm mark.
