Looking for a good spot to catch any fish off shore in Indropilly

Hi Zolli

If I’m completely honest with you Indro Bridge is not a great spot. There is a small platform accessible at the bridge end of the riverwalk on the Indro side, which you can fish off. High tide is better and it is snag ridden. There would be catfish and sharks. You can fish off the riverwalk although it’s quite high.

On the Chelmer side of the bridge there is a muddy beach which you can cast net off, and catch whiting, mullet, biddies, and prawns. There are some OK fish and sharks under the bridge but like ellicat said it’s mostly catfish.

If you do not have a cast net to catch livies I would use eel, or large fish chunks. Most of the catfish under the bridge are below thirty centimetres, anyways.

Cheers Hamish
