Cast netting mullet

Hi all.....

Can anybody give me some tips on good locations to castnet for mullet (20cm-30cm) from the shore to obtain livebait.

North side of Brisbane preferrably.

Schultz would probably be best. But make sure you cast around the area with a plastic or something before you throw your net in to check for snags. There's a few spots near the foot bridge about 200m back towards the mouth from where the gateway crosses.

I saw Kev foul hook about a 30cm mullet there on a lure the other day. Fought really hard we thought it was a small thready at first.

yer mate a good place to go this time of yr is boggy creek where the boat ramp is at high tide get lots of mullet nice size aswell good for sharks and cutting for stips.

Ive been getting heaps around the pine. Deep water bend from the shore where the red beacon is especially at night. Also at castle hill when the skiers arent around. Most are around 10-15cm but you get a fair few stonkers as well.

got 9 in one cast all around 15 - 25cm at a boatramp in the river today lol not sure which one, was abit rushed..
