I missed the games tonight (apart from the last 10 or so of Broncos loss). How did Drinkwater go at fullback for the Cowboys ?

He went exceptionally well. The Cowboys had the run of play for most of the game and his running game was a big part of that. They were unlucky not to win as were the Broncos who led the feather dusters most of the game.

with the rain tumbling down, the injury ravaged Knights had the floodgates open up on them at the 68 minute mark, and Manly put on 18 points in the final 12 minutes

hmmm. Mitchell blowing his hammy early in the first half, may have helped the Dragons look better than they were…..
Titans 20  vs. 26 Eels
The Titans looked hot for the 10 minutes the Eel’s Paulo was in the sin bin…

3 on each side (halfback, dummy-half and 5/8) so that would make 6 halves per game.  @Drop Bear, I think you and I are in trouble now that the Qld teams have reverted to their losing ways. Oh well, there is always 2023. Oh wait, we will have 4 teams to back then.........

Woops, I, ummmmm ...... managed to find Brian on the ladder. Sorry for the false alarm - I think I scrolled down as far as the hapless @Drop Bear (sorry Robbie but you know it's true ..... ) and assumed I'd reached the bottom ........ .

both sets of fans would be reasonably content with their team’s showing.

the Doggie fans never expected a win, and the Bronco fans are relieved that the Broncs were able to beat the bottom of the table team… having spent their wooden spoon season beating themselves.

positive for the Titan’s… they out-scored the Knights

Roosters pathetic tonight. Referring was appalling too. Was almost like refs were trying to help Roosters.

Broncos were impressive right from the opening kick off and tackles in defence. If they can keep that attitude up, finals could be a real possibility/probability.
