nrl 2024

Yeah, it was a great finish. I only switched on when it was 26/14, so got the exciting part, luckily.

I just watched the second half of the NRLW Tigers V Roosters game. Looks like they are suffering from low standard refereeing as well, including Bunker howlers.

Knights V Tigers 34 / 18 Top game Knights played well. It was suggested Gus Gould should run the Bunker. Gus said he would close it down. I don't understand why the game has to have two referees. They tried that on field. & it didn't work. Now we have the idiot bunker. The lady who does the NRLW bunker is so much better than the men. (IMO )

I wonder if ST. George would have won eleven premierships, with today's rules?

@Old Scaley  I have met Gus a couple of times. He is old school unlike the NRL. Wayne Bennett, Ricky Stewart & Gus know the game. Been around a long time & will not cop the NRL crap.

I was a Chief Steward & Clerk of the Course with the Confederation of Australian Motorsport. I grew up with racing people. We knew all about racing. These days Motorsport is run by walk in off the street bureaucrats. The chairman of the board is an ex-QLD bureaucrat (no offence). The Ceo left this year ex AFL & the so-called motorsport manager went with him, another off the street nobody who knew nothing about motorsport. I have just received a letter asking me back.

It is ten years since I walked out the door. Sorry for the moaning.

Cheers.
