Flipping The Frog

I just read the article 'Flipping the Frog' in the latest fishing world an it sounds awesome! Has anyone tried it. basically it consists of using frog like lures, mainly plastics and hopping them across lillypads. Apparently Bass will come right up out of the water and smash you lure while it's still on the lillypad.

Where do you guys reckon I could try? I'm only thinking of Clarrie Hall Dam.

I tried to find some footage of this but I couldn't get anything.

Tried this a bit just now at Bangalow. Was using a River 2 Sea frog with lots of foam stuffed in it. Still sank:( Has a pretty crap action. I'll have to suss it out, I'm using a Gamakatsu G lock hook rigged weedless which works well though. If I can figure it out I'll be in for some fun. The Bruns river is like milk chocolate so it's fresh/brackish water fishing only down here now.
