Roundhill Creek Entrance

This creek is always a place you need to be vigilant about...have seen the channel move sideways 10 metres in a tide in bad weather.

Everyone bitches about the govt not doing something about it but it is essentially unsolvable with the headland and current patterns....put something in and the maintenance costs will soon outstrip the costs of improvements.

Geebuz. Have a go at it...

I always drive out to the headland to check what that chanel is doing. So much easier on the brain.

Amazing the people that don't, or won't, for whatever reason.

About 18mths ago, I literally stood on that bank as a boat was coming straight in.

I waved my arms frantically at him and he still did not change course and basically rode over the top of a little wave and bottomed out about 10m from me.

I must have looked like bloody Jesus standing out there I was that far out from the shoreline, but apparently he didn't even notice me.

It was only early afternoon too, so sun was not in his eyes.

My guess is he was driving blind, following the gps path from earlier that morning when the tide was in.

Hope you get out for a run. Weather looks okay for the next couple days.
