What's on everyone's hit list for 2025 ?

5kg plus bluey

70cm snapper on plastic

I also want a 70cm plus Snapper on plastics, nothing else really,but a good Snapper. I’m also happy to let it go.

Get my first public land deer, hopefully sambar if I can get down that far. 

 

Get back up to NQ for some real fishing. 

 

I know one thing that I won't  fail to achieve. 

Going to work. That, I can almost guarantee, will destroy the top two goals.

My goal is to get in a LOT more fishing. Having been made redundant at 64, I should be able to manage to achieve it.

My goal is to find some new places to fish & catch some different fish.

Goals for me:

• Explore more of the bay and find some new spots.
• 80cm Snap on a lure
• Threadfin on lure in Brisbane River
• decent sized jew on lure in either the river or the bay
• Some spaniards anywhere/anytime as they taste so nice.
• A trip to 1770

Damn wish I had been made redundant and got a payout - mandatory age retirement at 60- not that I would have stayed anyway

Anyway Burger our job is to annoy the workers with discussions on what day we will go fishing while they are at work.

No real goals but a lot of hope the weather patterns suit what I want to do....the rest will happen.

Probably put in some early mornings trolling up snapper on hard body lures around dawn again.

More of the same deep channel work in the Bris and Bribie Passage....Bribie Passage has a lot of place I am yet to discover I am sure.

If I get the chance of good weather I'd like to get a few macks...spots or schoolies.

Thoroughly explore the channel outside of the Port to the 4 beacons, I am sure there will be some decent reef through there.
