mooloolaba canals/river

heading up 2 moolollaba 4 a week on sunday

and looking for any decent fishing spots

figure ill just spend a coupla hrs flicking plasitcs in canalss but wuld prefer it if i actually caught it

also i got a mate and 2 females who r requesting me to catch them fish haha

any ideas??(apart from using them for bait)

any point in targeting squid in places such as around teh trawlers???

cause i miss fresh calamari

7 years of living in png where u could regularly catch feeds of spuid and buy whole lobsters and mudcrabs for 5 kina(like 3 or 4 buks) each (usually still alive) as left me spoilt

so yeh - squid around??

mate have a look back through some of the reports in the north coast section, I have a heap in there from the mooloolah river. I have seen and caught squid around the pro boats.
