The Pine 12.01, Good boating, bad fishing

Headed out to the Pine river on saturday, after reports there was a bacteria out break at Somerset. The plan was to test out the new boat and get some fish in as well.

Got to the Clontarf ramp at about 500am to a massive low tide, havent seen a low tide like that there for ages. Took us out the the rocks off Redcliffe beach and man was it choppy! Not the lbest place to learn how to use your new boat:laugh:

With both baits and lures all we got were tiny nibbles, but no takers!

Headed into the pine itself to throw some lures around the snags and walls. Got nothing. Only thing that made me feel better was that all the passing boats said they hadnt gotten much aswell.

The boat (once I got the hang of the til etc) was awesome once we got out of the chop. Easy to control and awesomely fast.

In the end had a great day on the boat, shame about the fishing.

And thanks for the tips on how to use the boat Kriso, without them i'd have had no idea:laugh:
