Help with Shultz/Nudgee Creek

Hey everyone!

Fishing_cherry and I were thinking of sussing out Shultz Canal and Nudgee Creek tomorrow. Neither of us have fished there so would appreciate any information anyone can give us :)

Wat tides are best for Shultz or Nudgee Creek? Where abouts in either waterway are the best places to start? We are after bream, cod, flathead - basically anything.

Hope you guys can help

Cheers,

Tom & Hugh

Just remember you don't need to fish too light at Schultz and if you do you'll probably lose lures. 12lb will still easily catch bream.

For Nudgee creek I've only had success around the mouth on a run up. If the tide is low try around the canoe launch near the car park.

Shultz is usually best for me around the mid-tide. Too high and they stop biting, too low and you can't cast very far into the water. A neap tide is best for this. This is based on my personal results so feel free to argue with me if anyone disagrees:)

With Shultz, just try a steady wind with hard bodies. Again based on my experiences.

Also with Shultz, walk away from the main areas to catch more fish.

Enjoy the scenic location and cleanliness of Shultz when you go:D
