NEED HELP- fishing the pine

im another newbie kid to the internet thing but have been fishing for yonk, anyway.....

me and me ol' man have recently began fishing the pine river around the dohlesrock/ deep water bend area.

we can find the crabs but the fish and small bullies seem to evade us everytime!

so i need ur help......

any1 kno of where i could find a map of the pine, or even draw 1 up which they could send my way??

or any spots which r easy to find with sum simple directions from , say, the deep water bend boat ramp?

Maybe buy a beacon to beacon book, its like a UBD but for the water and its got all waterways from the tweed all the way to around fraser, it shows channels and inlets and everything, $29.95 at most bookstores and Newsagents

i tried to get a map off google earth but not sure how to copy it into paint so i can show you the good spots

Well I have never directly fished for sharks in the pine but i fish the south pine and the upper reaches of the north pine reguarly. We have seen them jumping and once we foul hooked one in the fin on a plastic up near strathpine in the south pine and we get bitten off on live baits alot.

Hey mate, there should be bullies throughout the whole stretch, just use livebaits and a wire trace and you have a good chance, but will probly get alot of eels, catties rays ect as bycatch, goodluck.

Press the Print Screen button. On a standard keyboard, it should be just above the back space (return) button and next to F12 or there abouts. Then all you do is do Ctrl+V when you're in paint, crop and add details:)
