After getting home from a mornings sandcrabbing yesterday we unloaded the pots had a quick feed and decided to chase some whiting to go with the crab. The weather did not make it very productive last night. After pumping some yabbies we headed to the sandbanks and spent about 15 minutes trying to get into position with the wind and waves making it difficult in 1/2 metre of water.

Ended up leaving early as the wind was to strong to feel the bites properly on my whiting gear, managed a few around 30-35cm [img size=500]http://www.australianfishing.com.au/media/kunena/attachments/legacy/images/IMG_2435_AFO.jpg

nice at that size, good fun too. I hate fishing in the wind, really makes life tuff.

Do you keep the heads for snapper bait ?
