Brissie River on Saterday

My dad, freind and I went to the brissy river. Firstly we went out the front near the rock wall no luck so to the pinkinba rock wall only 1 rat flatie. So we headed up the river and found a nice rock wall with some sand so we fished it i got 2 small bream on a small hb. After that my dad hooked a flatie but it snaped the leader. Next my freind got a very fat 57cm flathead on a hb. I got another bream then bang on my 3lb bream gear a big flatie hit. After a couple of minutes i got it another fat 57cm flathead. Then my mate caught a 51 cm flathead that had the plastic that we lost in its mouth so took the hooks out and went home. All fish were released

The hardbodies used were a jade medium deep, a mini micro mullet lively lures and a tt lures prodotype blade bait. Also the fish were released alive

The buggers never really seem to go off the bite:laugh: But the size of them turning up seems to be increasing from average reports of 40odd cm to more now in the high fifties.
