Good one. My oldest bloke got his first when he was 4 from the "beach" at Jacobs Well. My youngest was about a month old at the time. I'm sure he watched and learnt. Now he outfishes all of us haha.

my old man opened up a real can of worms when he handed me a handline at about age 3. my first catch was a shovelnose about 3 ft long about 20 minutes later!!!!

Hey, great pic - good stuff. My little one is still too old except to be posed with a rod, but I take him with me every time. He "gets" what we're doing and gets really excited when we land a fish. I'm hoping it will be part of his life that will continue when he's older.
