Off to KL (Malaysia) for snakehead

Hi guys,

Just thought I'd say that I'm off to KL to visit our good old friend Kiara aka Adrian for 2 days of freshwater fishing near the Thai border, specifically targeting snakeheads (aka Tomans). Be leaving this Wednesday to go back to my homeland as well (Singapore) for the 1st time after 3 long years. Hope we get some nice snakeheads so I can post up some pics when I'm back!

i saw a episode of Fishing WA where they went over to catch snakeheads, they did get one but they also got this weird half barramundi half eel tailed catfish thing.

barra head eel tail it was really weird.

could be, a bit more silver colored like a barra.

It looks exactly what you described fishyman.

And they are more silver in the light.

those snakeheads look like a murray cod crossed with a juvenile cobia. But apparently they have very sharp teeth

these fish r beasts, they can do some real damage to ur hands if ur not careful enough. i only got smaller ones in China and they fight like flathead&cod. some r easy to deal with but most r real fighters. u need very heavy leader to fish them for their dirty fighting and sharp teeth.

one of my favorite fish apart from some rare stuff( donno the names of them, 1 is similar to cattie the other's like a barra with dots on the body)
