Was just reading the latest BNB mag and stumbled across an article on Connoly dam near Warwick (aka Silverwood dam), has the makings of everything I like in a dam yellowbelly, silvers and cod and electric motor access only on a Saturday and Sunday for a fee of $10 to join the local stocking group (funds well spent I am sure) anyone on here been down there and tried it, It is on my need to explore list

no boating allowed unfortunatly. it is only open to boating on sundays to a select few involved in the stocking program :( You need a SIP permit which funds stocking so I don't understand why the people paying for the stocking(us) dont have the same access as these select few. My mate has been there when he was on holiday from the NT and got a nice 57cm cod and a small yella on spinners over a two day period.
