queensland Good sign for river

Hey all. Today i went exploring in the midd brisbane river to try and find some spots with structure where i could use lures about 10mins away from home. First up went to 17mile rocks and fished off that wharf thing wich is pretty cool jigging around the pilons with sp's Got 1 hit wich left some teeth marks in my big plastic. Then found another spot where i met up with this kid who fishes there all the time and has caught 18 threadys there! 4 on lures!! hes also got bream cattys n cod on lures. Showd me some awsome secret spots. Its still abit fresh so we only got catties on bait, but in the net we got some prawns and a baby thready!! wich i will post a picture, and also a small bream with half its back missing. A great day out finding some new close hunting grounds.

Baby Threadfin, a great sign that they are breeding well in the river and should be here for years to come.

hey tim r u talkin about that jettything at 17 mile rocks with that like plank of wood goin about 6m over the water??

i went there this arvo looks prety nice. i was walkin along that plank didnt feel very safe with my weight on it .
