Things are not always what they appear to be.

I have an extension lead from one side of the garage to the other to run a spare freezer and a battery charger for my dam boat.

Last Thursday before going fishing I noticed that the light on the charger had gone out. Checked the connections to the battery and that the charger was turned on and came to the wrong conclusion that the charger had carked it and thought I will have to look at it some time.

Went to the freezer yesterday morning to get some ice for fishing and found that the freezer defrosted and starting to smell.

Came home from fishing and found that the plug on the lead had come out. ( My fault it always had been a bit loose)

Threw out 3 X 20 litre buckets of sausages, and chicken and other meat.

Just finished washing out the freezer. Serves me right for not thinking on Thursday.

Lesson learnt may have to get a leccy on to install additional power point.

Cheers

Ray
