queensland offshor trip

well me a friend and a X member of this site went for a offshore mission, we launched the boat at bribi island at bout 1pm and went got some bait around the pilons, then we headed offshore to a reef ( duno wat it was called) we say some tuna surface action so we threw a few slugs at them and in 3 casts we got 3 tuna and landed 2, pretty good affort.

long story shot,

we hooked up to some absolute monster fish that just peeled drag of double thum locked drag. we ened up gettin a few snappa, rob got a good size cod and lost another 3 other cod that were alot bigger. and we got a few perlies.

imagine pulling that cod outta the brisbane river. Nice trip. A calm ocean would have been heaven compared to the cluster f*** of a day in the office.
