Hi guys just wondering if anyones used the cheap pressure cleaners for around $250?

We got a heap of concrete to clean and would also clean cars and boat with it.

Are they any good? Is the pressure any good or should we just get a bloke in to clean the concrete?

if you have a large area of concrette to clean rent a big one but for everything else the little ones are magic

ive cleaned alot of concrette now and the petrol powered industrial ones rock just dont hit your foot with them and dont hold the nozzle to close to exposed concrette it lifts the stones quite easilly

With these pressure cleaners it pays to look at the litres per minute they consume..higher the litres the better they are able to do the job.

I hire one and it puts out 11.5 litres a minute with a turbo head in stead of a fan jet and it does the job easily.

Anything with 1500psi and above 7 litres a minute shoud do the job!!

But I wopuld recommend getting a turbo head, cuts ya time in half!!

cheers.

sorry i couldnt tell you whom to hire from the last one i hired was a 4cyl diesel at about 5000psi it cut timber palings in half we did all the pathways in a resort in a week with it but im talking hundreds of square metres if you just have a driveway to do take your time with a normal one and the fancy heads are well worth the extra money:)

well 6000ltrs is plenty for the job sheild coat is the go last time i used them it was 110 for the day but if you hire on a saturday you get it for the weekend for the same price cause there not open sundays

Im not sure about the pool chlorine though im sure some one will call the water patrol just to check you out and if they see straight chlorine goin down the drain they wont be happy

ok np then i just thought thed have a prob with it as when we wash a roof down we have to disconect the down pipes so it doesnt flow to storm water ??

Wow i havnt heard that 1 either.

I would of thought more crap would come off the road like oils tar and the like than would come off a roof.

all you have to do is block the gutters on the road with sand bags and buldge it out if not set up 4 sand bags in a row across the gutter you wont have a problem with the dirt that comes off the roof or drive way i learn that mastake it is costly as for clorine i wash down terracotta tyles down with he stuff it cutts work down by half

The only problem with chlorine is that the driveways on the side of the house and slopes down and to the neighbours side property because he has a drain right down the back. However the Chlorine will run off onto his lawn and kill it, and i dont think he will be happy about that.
