queensland bald hills creek?

hey all just wondering if any one has ever fished the part of bald hills creek that u can get to through thatbig kids park at strathpine there (the one with the maze thingy lol)?

That is South Pine River and you can catch some big bream up there and also bass near the bridge

Bald Hills Creek comes off the Pine River near the mouth. Usually plenty of Flathead up there.

I used to fish there a bit we got sharks, bream, bass, flathead, catfish and even hooked a Mangrove Jack also that is actualy the South Pine River I think.

wow didnt know u can catch bass at strathpine. aren't they a fresh water fish?

Yes they are but they come down to the brakish water to breed and thats when you have a chance of getting one.By the time you get to the bridge on bald hills flat you can just about drink the water

I've paddled the yak up as far as the sewrage treatment plant at brendale on the high tide. Under the rail bridge theres a deep hole, and my bream gear was too light to get whatever was bricking me. Must go back with some heavier gear one day.
