Quick question!

Is Hinze dam fishable landbased??

Any suggestions as to where its ok to take the family fishing around the dam?

While they are building the new wall I am not sure but at the ramps it is very unpleaseant for LB fishing. Baroon is best for LB family fishing.

There is one spot I have had really good success at with lures so bait would surely work. I will just sort out a map for you mate.

Spot is off Nerang Murwillumbah Road and is on top of a hill and corner. There is a gate about 5m off the road. A short walk will get you down to the water. on the map the B area has seen many good bass on green and purple coloured spinners and the spot marked Y has produced a few golden and silver perch but the grass is a little crazy at the moment.
