sold anchor rope wanted

hey guys im looking to buy some anchor rope as mine is too shot for the fishin im doing lately, lookin for some 70mtr plus and with some strength in it as i just snapped some and lost my anchor.

your're looking at $2.20 per meter for 10mm 3 strand at bias

or $2.90 for 12mm

I'm sure some of those sailing type shops would have good lengths of strong rope. Can't remember any specific names of shops though sorry:(

You can get away with Silver rope which is $0.80 for 10mm and $1.20 for 12mm

Instead of jeff f's Nylon Rope which is $2.20 for 10mm and $2.90 for 12mm.

yeah is bloody expensive when you buying around 100mt it ads up, thats why im after some second hand stuff still in good nick.

If ya want cheap go silver rope or mylon.

However i have found polyester way better. It more supple and lays way better in an anchor way. Its easier on the hands whan retrieving (Espicially off shoe in greater depth.

Yeah wont dispute that, Much easier on ure hands but much more expensive.

Funfisher in bias catalouge they have 3strand Silver/White rope in 100metre coils, 10mm is $59.90 and 12mm is $89.90

What size boat do you have?

Thats a good buy at $65 landed to your door with eye splice and thimble already in one end!

I am too lazy to pull that much rope in, so I only fish in <5m water...LOL

my dad recently got 250metres of 10mm for $85 somewhere at coopers plains and a anchor retriever(float) spliced up for $30 including float' eyelets a ring(stainless)
